At Canvas And Panels, we take care to package our products securely and use reliable delivery services to get your order to you safely.
This page explains how we process, package and deliver orders.
1. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom.
Delivery availability, charges and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout or confirmed with you before your order is accepted.
If you require delivery to an address outside our normal delivery area, please contact us before placing your order. We may be able to arrange delivery depending on the size, weight and destination of the order.
2. Order Processing
We aim to process orders as quickly as possible and usually take 1-5 business days.
Standard products that are in stock will normally be prepared for dispatch within the time-frame shown on the product page or at checkout.
Some products may require additional preparation or manufacture before they can be dispatched.
For larger, made-to-order or bespoke canvas panels, we may contact you to confirm the production and delivery timescale before proceeding.
If there is likely to be a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you and keep you informed.
3. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on the product, order size, destination and delivery service used.
Any delivery time-frame shown on our website is an estimate unless we have specifically agreed a guaranteed delivery date with you.
For standard stocked products, the estimated delivery time-frame will normally be shown at the time of purchase.
Larger or bespoke products may require additional preparation and may therefore take longer to dispatch.
Where a specific delivery time-frame has been agreed for a bespoke or made-to-order product, this will take precedence over any general delivery estimate shown on our website.
4. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges start from £4.99 and depend on factors such as:
-
Product size.
-
Product weight.
-
Quantity ordered.
-
Delivery destination.
-
Delivery service required.
The applicable delivery charge will be displayed at checkout or confirmed before you place an order.
For particularly large, heavy or unusual orders, we may need to provide a specific delivery quotation.
5. Large Canvas Panels and Oversized Orders
Canvas panels and other products can become significantly more expensive to transport as their size increases.
Large or oversized products may therefore require a specialist courier or pallet delivery rather than a standard parcel service.
Where a specialist delivery service is required, we will confirm the delivery arrangements and any additional charges with you before proceeding.
For particularly large orders, please make sure there is suitable access to the delivery address.
This may include checking:
-
Doorway dimensions.
-
Hallways and corridors.
-
Stairways.
-
Lifts.
-
Gates and access routes.
-
Parking and unloading space.
Canvas And Panels cannot be responsible for difficulties delivering an item where the delivery location does not provide reasonable access for the agreed delivery service.
6. Delivery Address
It is your responsibility to provide an accurate and complete delivery address when placing your order.
Please check your:
-
House or building number.
-
Street name.
-
Town or city.
-
Postcode.
-
Contact telephone number where requested.
If you realise that you have provided an incorrect delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to correct the address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible once an order has been dispatched.
Additional delivery or re-delivery charges may apply where an incorrect address has been supplied by the customer.
7. Tracking
Where the delivery service provides tracking information, we will provide the tracking details when available.
Tracking information is provided by the relevant courier and delivery updates are outside our direct control.
If tracking shows that a parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate with the delivery company.
8. Missed Deliveries
If nobody is available to accept delivery, the courier may:
-
Leave the parcel in a designated safe place where permitted.
-
Leave it with a neighbour.
-
Take it to a collection point.
-
Attempt delivery again.
-
Contact you to arrange another delivery.
The exact procedure will depend on the courier and delivery service used.
Please follow any instructions provided by the courier.
Where a failed delivery or re-delivery is caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer or failure to follow reasonable delivery instructions, additional charges may apply where appropriate.
9. Checking Your Delivery
We recommend checking your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Please check:
-
The outer packaging.
-
The number of packages received.
-
The product size and specification.
-
The condition of the product.
If something is missing, incorrect or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.
This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.
10. Damaged Deliveries
Although we take care to package our products securely, damage can occasionally occur during transportation.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where possible, please provide photographs showing:
-
The outer packaging.
-
Any visible damage to the packaging.
-
The product and the damage to it.
-
Any internal packaging.
Please retain the packaging until we have had an opportunity to investigate the issue, as the courier may require it for a damage claim.
We will investigate the issue and, where the damage is our responsibility, provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
11. Delivery Delays
We work hard to meet our estimated delivery times, but delays can occasionally occur.
Delays may be caused by circumstances including:
-
Courier disruption.
-
Severe weather.
-
Traffic or transport problems.
-
Supplier delays.
-
Shortages of materials.
-
High seasonal demand.
-
Events outside our reasonable control.
If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.
Where a delivery date has been specifically agreed and we fail to deliver within the agreed time-frame, your legal rights may include the right to require delivery within an additional appropriate period or, in certain circumstances, to cancel the contract.
12. Delivery of Bespoke and Made-to-Order Products
Bespoke and made-to-order products may require additional manufacturing time before they can be dispatched.
The expected production and delivery time-frame will be communicated at the time of ordering or before production begins.
Because these products are manufactured specifically to your requirements, we recommend checking all dimensions and specifications carefully before confirming your order.
Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for information about cancellation and returns of bespoke products.
13. Business and Trade Deliveries
Business and trade customers are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive deliveries where required.
If a delivery requires special access, unloading facilities or other arrangements, these should be discussed with Canvas And Panels before ordering.
For larger trade orders, we may agree specific delivery arrangements and timescales with the customer.
Any agreed arrangements will take precedence over our standard delivery information.
14. Collection
Where available, local collection may be arranged for certain orders.
Collection arrangements must be agreed with Canvas And Panels before attending.
You will be responsible for ensuring that your vehicle is suitable for safely transporting the products collected.
For large canvas panels, please ensure that your vehicle has sufficient space and suitable access for the dimensions of the product.
15. Delivery and Risk
For consumer purchases, responsibility for the goods remains with Canvas And Panels until the goods come into the physical possession of you or a person you have identified to receive them, subject to applicable law.
For business customers, delivery and risk arrangements will be governed by the agreed trading terms and applicable law.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
16. International Deliveries
International delivery may be available by prior arrangement.
If we agree to deliver outside the UK, additional delivery charges, taxes, customs duties or other charges may apply depending on the destination.
Any international delivery arrangements and additional costs will be confirmed before the order is accepted.
17. Contact Us
If you have a question about delivery, your order or a delivery problem, please contact Canvas And Panels using the contact details provided on our website.
We will always do our best to resolve delivery issues quickly and fairly.
